About
I help shape the technical direction of molten-salt reactor design at Saltfoss Energy, combining system technical leadership with computational modelling. My work includes establishing modelling approaches, developing and validating new capabilities, and guiding their application to engineering decisions.
My background spans nuclear engineering and computational physics, from microscopic phase-change phenomena to reactor system dynamics.
I take modelling approaches from initial scoping through implementation and validation, then help colleagues take ownership so I can tackle new challenges. Across these transitions, I retain the technical context and reasoning behind earlier choices. I care about choosing the simplest model that captures the physics that matters and translating complex results into useful engineering insights.
I hold a PhD from the Institute of Physics at EPF Lausanne and a Joint Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from ETH Zurich and EPF Lausanne.
